What we collect on this site
- Your email, when you join the waitlist, plus anything you choose to add (your program, what Momentum should handle first, feedback you write).
- Where you came from: the link you used (for example a WhatsApp or Reddit link) and the referring site, so we know which communities to thank.
- Anonymous visit statistics: page views, whether the preview was played, how far the page was scrolled, and device type. We don’t use cookies or third-party trackers. Visitors are counted with a one-way daily hash that can’t be turned back into your IP address.
What we do with it
- Email you about Momentum: your spot on the waitlist, early access and launch news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Decide what to build first, using your feedback.
We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never use it to train AI models.
When Momentum connects to your accounts
When the app launches, it only connects the accounts you choose. Your school password is never stored: Momentum keeps an encrypted session, like a trusted browser, and your school’s multi-factor authentication keeps protecting every login. Nothing is sent, submitted or RSVP’d in your name without your tap. You can see and edit what Momentum remembers, disconnect any account, and delete everything at any time.
Where it’s stored
Waitlist data is stored in an encrypted database with our hosting provider in the United States, accessible only to the Momentum team.
Your choices
Want your data exported or deleted, or have a question? Email hello@momentumstudent.com and we’ll take care of it within 7 days.
Momentum is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school, Instructure (Canvas) or the other platforms mentioned on this site.
